Republicans in the US Senate should supplement the bill on sanctions against the Russian Federation by including restrictive measures against Iran, stated the American president Donald Trump on Sunday.
“Republicans should add Iran to the bill on sanctions against Russia,” he wrote on the Truth Social network.
According to Trump, the now-deceased Senator Lindsey Graham, who was the initiator of proposals for anti-Russian sanctions, would have wanted such a supplement.
“That’s what will happen, that’s important,” Trump added, speaking about measures against Iran.
