Proposed meetings between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, dictator Vladimir Putin, or a trilateral summit involving US former President Donald Trump represent meaningless talk. This perspective was voiced by Valeriy Pekar, a specialist in future forecasting and lecturer at the Kyiv-Mohyla and Lviv Business Schools, in the latest episode of LIGA Talk.
“In my view, this is empty rhetoric. We need to hold out, to persevere until the year’s end, and then reassess. [We must] avoid getting caught up in the emotional turmoil of ‘meeting or not meeting,’ ‘peace tomorrow or no peace tomorrow,’ ‘elections in three months or no elections in three months,’ and so on,” the expert stated.

According to him, these emotional swings deplete energy “more than anything else,” proving even more exhausting than the constant anticipation of Russian attacks.
“[Emotional swings] are something we absolutely must rid ourselves of,” Pekar emphasized.
