This was announced on television by the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, as reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.
“The border with Romania. In fact, for a long time, this particular border section has been noted for the most attempts at illegal border crossings,” said Demchenko, responding to a question about the most common routes chosen by violators.
According to him, previously, the border sections with Romania and Moldova had practically identical indicators in terms of the number of violators.
“Currently, the section of the border with Romania prevails,” emphasized the DPSU spokesperson.
