Зеленський: Зараз ключовим є рішення партнерів щодо надання ракет для Patriot і запровадження санкцій проти РФ

Zelenskyy: Partners' decisions on transferring Patriot missiles and sanctions against the Russian Federation are important now

Key for Ukraine now are decisions from partners regarding the provision of anti-ballistic missiles and sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Ukrinform reports that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized this in his evening video address.

“Of course, we see every leader and every country reacting to Russian strikes on Ukraine. But a united strong reaction – a just one, one that truly achieves its goals and helps people – is additional support for us in Ukraine, for our people, for our state. Missiles for ‘Patriots’ are available globally; it’s important for partners to make this political decision – a decision to transfer the necessary packages. The United States of America knows what we need. Europe knows what we need. Anti-ballistic missiles should protect people, not lie in warehouses. And every day without such timely, crucial assistance is an opportunity for Russia to kill people,” stated the head of state.

The President added: “Now, we also need to respond with additional, real sanctions. Every legal entity, every individual assisting enterprises in Russia to produce ballistics – launchers, missiles, supplying components, or anything else they need – should be under sanctions. Not just ours, but also partners’ – there are still gaps in G7 jurisdictions. Our diplomats need to work on this. The fuel sector: anything that helps Russia restore oil refining must be guaranteed to be stopped. We will discuss this with Ukrainian ambassadors as well – a global meeting is scheduled soon. Real results are needed in every direction – weapons for Ukraine, sanctions against Russia.”

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that due to insufficient sanctions against Russia’s military production, the Russian Federation can ramp up its ballistic missile production. Ukraine currently faces a shortage of missiles for air defense systems, specifically PAC-2 and PAC-3.
