Ukrainian forces strike Russian UAV launch site in Pokrovsk Video 05.06.2026 19:42 Ukrinform The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted an airstrike on a center in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, hitting a launch site for “Molniya” strike UAVs and reconnaissance drones used by Russian invaders.
The press service of the 7th Corps of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, releasing footage of the aerial strike on the enemy’s UAV launch site in the central part of Pokrovsk, Ukrinform reports.
The military noted that Russian forces continue to attempt to gather troops and equipment in Pokrovsk to support further offensive operations within the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps of the Assault Troops.
Among the invaders’ priority tasks is expanding the network of drone launch sites within the city, utilizing residential areas for this purpose.
Specifically, take-off and control points for UAVs are being set up in concrete shelters, basements, and building entrances of multi-story buildings.
Ukrainian forces are identifying and destroying such targets.

According to available information, the Russians had established a launch and take-off point for “Molniya” type strike UAVs at the facility, and also used it for aerial reconnaissance.
“The strike on the facility has complicated the operations of enemy drone units in the direction and reduced the enemy’s capabilities for reconnaissance and carrying out strikes,” emphasized the 7th Corps of the Assault Troops.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 4th and the night of June 5th, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russian troop command posts and areas of enemy manpower concentration in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
